How is the wholesale price calculated for an application?
We calculate the wholesale prices of apps based on a few simple factors. An application’s stage as concept or in the App Store determines the backr’s potential profit. Concept stage applications may be more risky for a backr but copies are less costly to purchase and result in greater profit for backrs. An app in the App Store may have greater certainty but it is purchased at a higher price, resulting in smaller profit for the backr (and greater profit for the developer).
