How is the weather information loaded in RODOS?
The weather data is collected from British Met. Office and sent to RODOS via satellite transfer as well as via fixed cable. Forecasts are continuously updated in RAIS (RODOS Aeronautical Information System). Does RODOS consider RVSM when flight plans are calculated? Yes, the progress of RVSM implementation is closely monitored world-wide and kept up to date in RODOS.
