How is the way a chiropractor approaches health different from how a medical doctor approaches health?
Simply put, a chiropractor’s definition of health is functioning at one’s full potential, whereas a medical doctor’s definition of health is the absence of sickness and / or disease. A chiropractor approaches health from an inside-out perspective – believing that the body was created with the ability to heal itself as long as there is no interference. Conversely, a medical doctor approaches health from an outside-in perspective, believing that the body is deficient in specific chemical that it is not capable of manufacturing on its own.
