A. The Series 4 UV system installs in-line in the Aquarium’s circulation piping, after the filter and before any heater or chemical injection points. The unique flow-through design of the Series 4 UV system allows for 100% of the filtration water to flow through the UV reactor at all times. By utilizing the patent pending flow-through design and incorporating a large 4 inch ( 10.1 cm) diameter reactor, the Series 4 UV system keeps piping to a minimum, eliminating flow path bends, elbows, and similar hydraulic restrictions. This simple piping design not only allows for a low cost installation, but also eliminates many potential plumbing leak points by reducing the number of fittings required.
