How is the user warned when the DPM is running out of memory?
One minute before running out of memory the remaining time will flash When the memory finally runs out the recording stops and a warning beep will be activated. PLEASE NOTE: Due to the very large recording times available on Philips Digital Pocket Memo recorders running of of recording time will be a very infrequent event. You may wish to keep a close eye on the Recording Time Available indicator on the recorder display to ensure that you have enough recoding time available for the job at hand. This would be particularly true if you use the DPM as a Mass Storage device as well as a digital voice recorder, or if you are recording long running conferences.
