How is the transcription portion of the exam graded?
The applicant ‘s transcription will be compared with the key and a text-compared document will be provided for review. A recruiter or QA manager for your company will need to review the transcription to determine the actual score by determining what are acceptable differences (minor formatting issues and subjective grammar/punctuation issues, etc.) and what are not acceptable differences (major spelling errors, medication misspellings, etc.) By ignoring everything in black, the recruiter/QA manager will concentrate on the potential errors in red and blue.
