How is the Thumb Stick (five-position cursor switch) used on the eTrex Venture, Legend, or Vista?
A. Pressing the Thumb Stick button in, or moving it up, down, left, or right allows you to perform a multitude of functions with only one finger. Placing the unit in your left hand positions your thumb to be used to navigate each page and perform functions such as entering coordinates, marking waypoints, panning the map, and scrolling from page to page.
