Morrison — a Republican — said this issue would be discussed at a future board meeting. Board members split along party lines when voting whether to eliminate the assistant deputy director job. The two Republican members — Morrison and Brian Daley — voted in favor of eliminating the position held by Scott Sigel, a Republican.
