How is the student life at TUJ?
An important thing to remember about TUJ is that it’s not student life at TUJ so much as student life in japan. TUJ is just some classrooms in a building, there is no true campus and therefore no true campus life. Going to TUJ is more like living as an independent adult who takes classes than like being a traditional college student. Community college students will feel more at home than traditional 4 year college students transferring in. TUJ does try cultivate a campus environment and the opportunities to be social are there. There is a lounge with video games, sofas, people play instruments. Cafeteria (no food service though, just vending machines and tables) and a large smoking deck. There is also clubs you can join and they hold a lot of trips and special events. TUJ is reasonably equipped for its size (with the exception of computer labs, its always packed!). However people only hang around when they are there for class or between classes. The whole hanging out with your friends
