The strength is obtained only as a result of optimum compaction by a roller or other suitable compacting device. Soil processed with RRP will not become firm and strong of its own accord. Actually, it is the other way round: when processed with RRP and then made strong by optimum compaction, soil will never again be softened or loosened by water or frost.
