How is the St. Albans grade-point-average calculated?
St. Albans calculates your junior-year grade-point-average at the end of your junior year—this is an unweighted numerical average of all junior-year semester grades. GPA is calculated again after the first semester of your senior year. You can calculate your GPA by adding all of your semester grades (not final grades) and dividing by the number of courses you have taken. Most colleges will recalculate your GPA and calculate a cumulative GPA. In most cases, colleges will drop your grades in Art and Religion when recalculating GPA. St. Albans does not calculate class rank.
