How is the SilverFox Link™ different from other Personal Emergency Response Systems (PERS)?
With SilverFox Link, you speak directly into the device rather than speaking into a speakerphone/base station. This ensures that our Emergency Operator will always be able to hear you, and more importantly, that you can speak to the operator. Other products feature a device with a button that activates a speakerphone base station located somewhere in the home. Although the “help button” will generally activate the speakerphone, if you are not close enough to this speakerphone, such as in the garden or garage, the Emergency Operator will not be able to hear you talking. Likely, emergency services will be dispatched whether there is a real emergency or not. In addition, to ensure that SilverFox Link is an integral part of daily living, it functions as a watch and a telephone, allowing you to answer and talk on the phone from anywhere in and around their home during their normal day-to-day activities.
