How is the silver agent embedded in the microfiber?

0

The micro silver-based agent that we use (and it is micro, not nano) is physically and chemically bound into the fibre. Think of it in this way – prior to the creation of the fibre it is in a liquid state at which time the silver-based agent is added – so it is basically dissolved within the liquid…then the liquid is extruded (think of it going into a shower head as a liquid and coming out of the small holes on the other side as a solid fibre with the silver embedded within. I do believe they do QA/QC on all batches and know how much silver is in each cloth – this is proprietary information though. They have also done tests on the effectiveness of the silver after 100 washings of the cloths and have found it to be nearly as effective after 100 washings as in a new cloth – so we know that a vast majority, if not all of the silver is remaining within the cloths. If you haven’t already done so, you may want to consider ordering a package of the antibac brochures on the supply requisition.
