How is the scholarship paid? Is it possible to receive the full amount referring to six or twelve months?
The scholarship is paid on a monthly basis. The payments will be made every two months as stipends corresponding to 90% of the awarded scholarship for the subsistence component. The remaining 10% of this component accumulated during the development of the project will be paid after the submission and approval of the yearly progress reports and the final report. The first payment is made immediately after the notification of the host HEI of the beginning of the education/training project in the EU and after the candidate has communicated his/her bank account details in the host country. We recommend that in the initial stage the scholar has at his/her disposal the funds from his/her 25% because in some countries and institutions the regularizations of his/her situation and the opening of a banking account can take long after the arrival in the country.
