How is the Sample Size determined on the MDS Monthly QI Comparison Report?
The Sample size refers to how many resident assessments that had QI calculations done during the six-month time period. If multiple assessments were submitted for a resident during that time period, QI calculations will only be done on the assessment with the most current A3a (Assessment Reference Date).
