How is the repayment of the warrants guaranteed to purchasers of the warrants or warrant holder?
A bond insurance policy is purchased from the ISCAP credit enhancer which insures payment of principal and interest on the warrants to the warrant holder. Through this insurance, the warrant holder is guaranteed payment even if school corporations fail to pay. However, the insurance company will seek payment from the school corporations if it makes a payment under the policy.
