How is the rental housing at Storrs Center going to be managed?
There will be on-site management, and this staff will be trained to handle such responsibilities as leasing, maintaining the physical building, managing the housing on a day-to-day basis, and providing related services to the residents. On-site staff will also be trained to coordinate with Town staff with respect to public safety and similar issues. Apartments will be marketed to the general public, and EDR has met with local realtors and major employers in the region, among others, to assist with EDR’s marketing efforts.
