How is the reference page formatted?
It is recommended that the reference page be prepared as a separate page. Depending on the reference used, recognize that variations in formatting of reference pages may exist. The following may be considerations in preparing the reference page: • The title of the reference page could be centred in block caps on the appropriate starting line. • Side margins should be the same as those used for the report. • The entries should be in alphabetical order by the name of the author(s), or if the author is unknown, by the title of the source used. • Order of the entry may be: author’s name (surname first), year of publication, title of source, and publisher (recognize that a preference within an organization or institution may exist). • The first line of each entry could start at the left margin, with second and subsequent lines indented. • Entries on a reference page are single spaced with a blank line left between entries. 4.5 Learning Objectives Instructional Notes Approaches/Assessment Re
