How is the RCI Points membership handled in the sale of an RCI Points timeshare interest?
An RCI membership can be transferred as part of the resale of an RCI Point Based timeshare interest to a new owner who is not currently an RCI Points member. If transferred, the purchaser receives the remainder of the existing term of the RCI Points Subscribing Membership. The selling member must submit to RCI the properly executed membership transfer application, pertinent ownership information and the applicable membership transfer fees. The RCI Network Administrator also reserves the right to refuse the applications for transfer of membership and the applicable fees. If a member transfers their vacation time, the purchaser will acquire the Member’s vacation time subject to any outstanding reservations that exist with respect to such vacation time.
