How is the RA Workshop different from the TA Conference?

The two events are separate and are designed specifically to address different audiences. The RA Workshop is designed to increase new and nearly new RAs’ awareness of strategies and resources to enhance their effectiveness an RA at UW, whereas the TA Conference consists of numerous workshops to build TAs skills for enhancing teaching and learning on this campus.
