How is the Quality of Living Allowance (QOL) determined?

As with the COLA calculation, ExpatMonitor uses Mercer’s Quality of Living Allowance table by default. When entering the policy details you can specify if you use the standard QOL calculation or if you use Mercer’s extended options. You can specify how the allowance is determined (for example as a % of gross, of net or a fixed amount). If other sources for data than Mercer are used, these can be implemented as look up tables.
