The Database was designed after reviewing many websites. The user can identify the areas/topics of interest and from there can identify specific items of interest. For each item a table of data is provided to the extent possible for each of the 5 areas (Champaign County, Champaign-Urbana, Champaign County minus Champaign-Urbana, State of Illinois, and State of Illinois minus Cook County for each of the 3 time periods (1990, 1995 and most recent) to the extent available. The source(s) for each table are provided so the user can go back to the original database if desired. A comprehensive listing of source(s) also is provided under the heading Resources.
