How is the Product Development Group (PDG) Drafting Group (DG) appointed?
• The Product Nomination (PN) proponent recommends the initial list of DG members when submitting the Product Nomination. • Volunteers are requested when the PN is posted. • The TAD interacts with the potential candidates to ensure they each commit to the duties as specified in the Job Descriptions • As part of the SAC recommendation package to the EXCOM, the TAD recommends PDG DG and Assigned Reviewer membership selected PN was posted, or from other sources deemed necessary to ensure that breadth and openness of the process is achieved. • The EXCOM approves the nominees.
