How is the pilot informed if his/her flight is assigned a standby status?

If a flight has been assigned standby status because the pilot has not reported in for start-up according to his/her target time, the pilot will be informed by the air traffic controller or by communication airline to cockpit or ground handling to cockpit. This flight is, consequently, no longer in the planned departure (take-off) sequence. A new COB must be entered in order to get back into the planning process.
