How is the Pierce College calendar organized?
Our academic terms are called quarters. Each year, there is a fall quarter, which begins in late-September, a winter quarter, which begins in early-January, a spring quarter, which begins at the end of March, and a summer quarter, which begins in mid-June. You can start during any quarter, though most students start in the fall. Registration for classes and payment of tuition are done each quarter. It’s a very flexible system.
