How is the physical environment tailored to people with dementia? Is it secure?
The Memory Support physical space was designed very carefully and intentionally for people with dementia. The specific environmental features include: secure indoor and outdoor space, memory boxes outside of each resident’s apartment, color coding, Wander Guards, and plenty of designated space for therapeutic recreation programming.
