How is the performance of TurboStak impacted by truck speed and wind velocity?

We have found that CFD(Computational Fluid Dynamic) simulations can provide very accurate indications of what to expect in the real world. So we ran our existing TurboStak CFD simulation at 5 mph increments, from 80 mph down to 20 mph. The pressure differentials predicted by the simulation were then used to calculate a predicted efficacy of the TurboStak at each specific speed over the ground. These calculations were based upon the given industry-standard pressure drop of 3″ Hg across the inline mufflers. As you will see, they definitely agree with field test results. In addition, we scaled the CFD pressure differentials to a known fuel savings figure produced by controlled field tests at 65 mph to yield projected fuel savings at these various speeds. For example, we list an average of 3% fuel savings on our web site based upon several field tests conducted at 65 mph. You may also notice that the scale is disproportionately sensitive to relative wind speed. In other words, the faster y
