How is the performance for the Platinum Portfolio calculated?
Our performance numbers are calculated by using each constituent stock’s closing price on the day that change was announced. Please note, the price used for performance calculations differs from the price that appears on the addition, deletion and composition pages. The prices on the latter pages reflect the stocks’ closing prices on the previous Friday. This is because our Fair Value model needs a week’s worth of data to produce results, so we cite the last price that was used for our calculations.
