The PDA is used for entering vital signs and selecting the encounter template. The nurse can access the Tablet database from a WindowsCE device over a wireless connection. She records patient data on the PDA, and sends it, along with her template selection, to the Tablet. This all can happen while the physician is using the Tablet for another patient encounter.
