How is the PC version of MCASE different from the Alpha/OpenVMS version?

0

The PC versions of our software have different graphical user interfaces (GUIs) from the corresponding Alpha/OpenVMS versions, but the underlying program logic and algorithms for bioactivity prediction are unchanged. This means the PC versions have a different look and feel from the OpenVMS versions, and perhaps they are more convenient for persons who are accustomed to using the Windows platform. However, the bioactivity prediction using MCASE or CASETOX will be exactly the same as the prediction with MC4PC or TOX4PC using the same database. Similarly, a tree of metabolites predicted with META is identical to that predicted by META-PC.
