How is the part time (including distance learning) course structured and delivered?

The induction unit is the same as the full time course outlined above. Part time students can take the course over a period of between 2-6 years, but we recommend 3 years as the best choice. A 3 year programme would involve: Year 1: Two modules in semester one and two more in semester two thereby completing half the taught course in the first year, Year 2: Two more modules in each of the two semesters completing the taught course at the end of year two. Year 3: Undertake the project/dissertation. A very small number of students elect to undertake the project/dissertation in year two at the same time as the final set of four taught modules. This is extremely demanding on your time, especially if you have a full time job and family. We do not recommend it, but is it allowed and we will work with you and support you if you choose this option. The distance learning delivery replies extensively on self-study materials that are paper, web and video based materials.
