Most travel packages like Thomas Cook don’t allow you the flexibility you are looking for. They are very strict and rigid in what they allow, that way they can control costs and maximize profits. If you like a trip that does everything for you, and keeps you on a schedule then go for it. However I don’t consider that traveling. I like to make my own plans and control my costs the way I want. See what I want to see and when I want to see it. Exploring, getting lost and finding new things is what travel is really about. All of Europe is a must see.
