• The Core Competency section scores are worth one tenth and therefore the total of all the scores in that section are added up and divided by 10. In the example below, the total core competencies add up to 35. 35 / 10 = 3.5 • The Supervisor/Manager Competencies are worth 1/5 and only for those that have a score (an NA will not be counted). In the example below, there are two competencies with a total score of 6.0. 6.0 / 2 (because only two competencies have scores) = 3.0 • The two sections are then added and the average is calculated for the overall score. In the example below, 3.5 + 3.0 = 6.5 / 2 = 3.
