How is the notification’s registration prolonged?
The registration is valid for the duration stated by the data processor in the notification’s form. If it has a time limit and the data processor wishes to continue the data processing, he/she is compelled to supplement the notification before the stated duration expired. In this situation, it isn’t necessary to pay a new notification charge. If the data processor doesn’t supplement the notification, in the sense of prolonging its’ duration, then he/she commits a minor offence, being liable of sanctioning.
