How is the Nominating Committee selected?

0

The Nominating Committee consists of the First Vice President of the Society and four members of the Society appointed by the President not less than six months prior to the election of officers and directors with which they are concerned. At least one member and not more than three members of each Nominating Committee will have been a member of the previous Nominating Committee. The President may consider, but will not be bound by, recommendations for membership on the Nominating Committee received from the First Vice President of the Society and any member of the Society. It will be the function of the Nominating Committee to recommend each year to the members of the Society a slate of nominees for elec¬tion as Elected Officers and Elected Directors of the Society. Nominations of Elected Officers and Elected Directors may also be made on petition of twenty-five or more members of the Society, provided they are communicated to the Executive Director in writing not less than two weeks
