How is The Mustard Tree Project funded?

0

As an organisation we raise funds to support each residential client’s place from different sources which are basically as follows: • Each client signs a Licence Agreement to live in a Mustard Tree Project property. This licence gives a liability for a charge equivalent to rent and allows a client to claim Housing Benefit, with our help, to meet some or all of this charge. • The Mustard Tree Project has a contract with Supporting People through Warwickshire County Council to deliver support services. This contract effectively pays for much of the support clients receive and some of the administration costs that we have in running the project. • Certain charges are not eligible for either housing benefit or Supporting people funding. These will be charged through a client’s Personal Contribution. Each client’s Personal Contribution is negotiated individually depending upon the services that are supplied routinely, the extra services a client may wish to take and the level of entitlement
