How is the MorElectric HVAC different from todays vehicle air conditioning systems?

The MorElectric HVAC (heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning) uses a high efficiency scroll compressor technology that is expected to provide five times the reliability over traditional automotive-based refrigeration systems. The MorElectric electrically driven compressor, allows removal of today’s belt driven compressor from the harsh engine mounted location; it also allows the removal of the condenser from the radiator area which eliminates the A/C heat load from the radiator air stream and improves engine cooling capacity. The module is a single unit as opposed to conventional A/C systems that are connected by multiple refrigerant hoses. The hoses are replaced with hard lines and brazed connections, thus virtually eliminating refrigerant leaks. The refrigeration system is pre-charged and ready for plug-in-play to ease installation, and can be unplugged and swapped out without breaking into the refrigeration system for ease of servicing. The HVAC provides up to 24,000 Btu/H of co
