• facility repairs and maintenance • visitor services • habitat enhancement • resource conservation and maintenance • law enforcement • seasonal employment for on the ground presence Examples of BLM Colorado’s improvements at the three fee demo sites: • Campground inventory (31 campsites) and use analysis within the Gunnison Gorge • Replacement of Chukar Put-In toilet • Tamarisk removal along Gunnison River • Increased visitor contacts and services, funds are paying for seasonal personnel that are stationed on-the-ground to provide additional public contacts and resource protection • Provided funding for traveling exhibits, special events, curator’s time and travel for, construction of exhibit cases at the Anasazi Heritage Center • Touch Drawers within the Museum • The access road to the Pumphouse Recreation area was graded and a dust inhibitor applied.
