External examinations are set and marked by the SACE Board examination panel. Teachers set a number of assessment tasks throughout the school year and collate the total marks for submission to the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) Board at the time of the final examination. Students who successfully complete SAM are accredited with the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE), an award that is internationally recognized.
