How is the MOBI-ARC system different than other welders on the market?
The MOBI-ARC Control Units contain a surface-mount printed circuit board (PCB) that acts as the brain. The PCB houses a pulse-width modulation (PWM) control circuit that controls the alternator more efficiently than a traditional transistor-based regulation system (PWM is utilized in all computer power supplies, automotive cell-phone chargers, and literally thousands of other products where power must be controlled). The PCB also houses numerous control, switching, and safety circuits specifically designed to provide the most sophisticated, yet most reliable control unit on the market. Our control units have no switches that the operator must toggle. All functions are voltage-sensing and completely automatic.
