How is the Microdermabrasion facial treatment procedure done?
Microdermabrasion skin treatments can be successfully used on the face, neck, and chest arms more rarely on the knees, elbows, arms and hands. After cleansing your treatment area, we use a jet of sterile micro-crystals to gently exfoliate your skin. We can adjust the pressure for your skin and move the microdermabrasion machine’s hand piece across the treatment area to deliver a precise stream of crystals onto the skin’s surface to reveal a fresh, invigorated, clear skin surface. After your skin treatment, we may choose to do one of several different type of chemical peels depending on your skin condition. Does Microdermabrasion Facial Treatment Hurt? Not really. Microdermabrasion may sting a little around the eye area. We will normally increase the treatment strength each session to increase the penetration to the skin.
