How is the material scanned into a digital form?
The images for Sabin Americana, 1500-1926 originate on microfilm where each frame contains the image of a two-page spread from an open book. We have manually split these images into single pages. This manual process allows for more control and accuracy than the automated splitting routines typically used to split images into single pages.
