How is the Master of Arts in English for Teachers different from a Master of Arts in English?
Our program is a hybrid-a content-driven master’s degree that teaches some courses in pedagogy along with a broad range of literature classes that are always mindful of what literary and theoretical knowledge will best serve ALL teachers. It is our belief that reading deeply in literary history and literary theory will have a positive impact on teaching at all levels.
