How is the LSAT scored, and whats a good score?

0

The LSAT has a score scale from 120 – 180. A “good” score depends on the programs to which you will be applying, so do some research on the schools in which you’re interested. Some law schools publish the median LSAT scores of the previous incoming class, but the tendency now is to publish the range for that class, i.e., the LSAT score above which the top 25% earned, and below which the bottom 25% earned. The closer a score is to a school’s top range, of course, the better your chances are. All that being said, admission to the very top law schools usually means an LSAT score of at least 165, and perhaps even 170+.
