How is the Lighting Control Unit Fused?

0

The LCU’s power supply is fused at the IPA with a 50A fuse. This fuse also protects the AC J-Box so the load is shared between the two devices. This allows the LCU 25A of current draw. Internally there are two 7A fuses in series on each light channel. These fuses are soldered to the circuit board inside the unit and are not user serviceable. This device is also protected by a software fuse that will sense an over current condition and shutoff power to the affected port.
