How is the Inyo-Mono IRWMP process being funded?
The current work effort to develop a planning grant application is being funded by a generous grant from the Sierra Nevada Conservancy with in-kind and cash assistance being provided by California Trout. In addition, the California Department of Water Resources is covering the costs of neutral facilitation support being provided by the Center for Collaborative Policy. Assuming the planning grant request is funded, then funds from Proposition 84 will be utilized to develop the complete regional water management plan. To supplement the grant funds, participating organizations will provide assistance with in-kind contributions of staff resources as well as meeting space and support.
