How is the interface with HP OpenView?
Remedy Link for HP OpenView Network Node Manager is an integration product, which enables Remedy Help Desk to seamlessly work with the industry-leading network management product from Hewlett-Packard. This product allows the automatic creation of help desk requests when a network-related problem is discovered by the network management system. In addition, the closure of a problem on the help desk updates the network map in HP OpenView and indicates the corrected state of a network device. This bi-directional sharing of information ensures that the IT help desk and network support teams are always aware of — and working on — the same issues, and that help desk staff are immediately aware of network-related issues which may be the reason for an increased call volume from the end-user community. This improves IT productivity and efficiency, as well as improving the help desk staffs ability to satisfy the end-users requests.
