There are significant differences between the Intelligent Mobile Hotspot and other Mobile Broadband devices, primarily because the Intelligent Mobile Hotspot can connect multiple devices using a Wi-Fi connection to Verizon Wireless Mobile Broadband service. The other modems require a physical connection, and may only be used with one notebook at a time. Further, the Intelligent Mobile Hotspot connects not only notebook computers, but can also connect to various Wi-Fi enabled devices, such as cameras, gaming devices, digital photo frames and more.
