Ohio law says that the Commission cannot regulate the composition of the BZA beyond the Section 519.13 requirement that they be “residents of the unincorporated territory of the township”. In other words, the Trustees have a free hand in appointing the BZA members. Your vote for the Trustees, and your contribution of input to the Township will insure the integrity of the BZA.
