How is the IEEE organized?
The IEEE is organized geographically and technically. Geographically it is divided in 10 world-wide level regions (see Regions), where Region 9 is Latin America. The regions as well divide in Councils and Sections. We belong to Region 9, Mexico Council, Morelos Section. Technically its organized in 37 technical societies, where each one of them deals with a certain subject about Electro-technology and/or Computer science (see Societies).
